Job type – Office-based, 6-months fixed-term contract
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English language training to adult learners in group settings across a range of proficiency levels, with a focus on Oil & Gas industry communication and sector-specific terminology.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver learner-focused lessons aligned with the curriculum, learning objectives, and business requirements.
- Apply effective teaching methodologies and communicative approaches to maximize learner engagement and language development.
- Assess learners' progress through ongoing evaluation, provide constructive feedback, and implement appropriate learning support where required.
- Maintain accurate learner records, including attendance, assessment results, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Adapt teaching methods, lesson content, and learning materials to meet the diverse needs and proficiency levels of learners.
- Integrate digital learning tools and educational technologies to enhance the learning experience and improve outcomes.
- Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching, Linguistics or another relevant field. Master's degree is considered an advantage.
- Possession of an internationally recognized English language teaching qualification (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or an equivalent certification) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of professional English language teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in adult learning methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple classes and administrative responsibilities effectively.
