Procurement Manager
Oil & Gas Company
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement, contracts, supply chain, logistics and vendor management activities supporting operations and projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement, contracting, and supply chain activities.
- Manage tendering, bid evaluation, commercial negotiations and contract awards.
- Develop sourcing strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage supplier selection, prequalification and performance.
- Oversee logistics, expediting, materials and inventory activities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contractual requirements.
- Lead and develop the PSCM team and monitor key performance indicators.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Projects and Finance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant PSCM experience, including managerial/team leadership experience.
- Strong background in oil & gas, energy, O&M, engineering, or industrial services.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, contracts, tendering, and supplier management.
- Proven commercial negotiation and cost optimization experience.
- Experience with local and international suppliers.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent Azerbaijani and English; Russian is an advantage.
- ERP/SAP experience is an advantage.
