Vendor Manager
Key Goal
To manage B&B Security strategic and operational relationships with its technology vendor and OEM partners — ensuring maximum value from vendor programs, pricing, and support, negotiating favorable terms, maintaining contractual compliance, and evolving the portfolio to match market demand.
Responsibilities (Managerial & Operational)
• Own day-to-day relationships with vendor partner and channel managers, account teams, and executive stakeholders — regular business reviews, escalations, and joint planning;
• Manage deal registration, special pricing (NSP) requests, and MDF/co-marketing fund applications across all vendor partners;
• Track and maintain B&B’s partner tier and certification status with each vendor, including renewal deadlines for technical and sales accreditations;
• Ensure vendor commitments — product delivery, service levels, and quality standards — are consistently met;
• Coordinate pricing and quoting with vendors on behalf of the sales team, ensuring proposals are competitive and accurate;
• Monitor vendor roadmaps, new product releases, and partner program changes, and brief the commercial and technical teams on what matters;
• Spot gaps in the portfolio and lead evaluation of new vendors to fill them;
• Organize vendor-funded enablement — technical and sales training, certifications, co-marketing events, joint webinars and conference participation;
• Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs), to secure favorable outcomes;
• Review and manage contractual obligations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk;
• Coordinate contract renewals, amendments, and updates in partnership with internal teams (sales, finance, legal);
• Handle order placement and tracking with vendors;
• Support tenders and RFPs on the vendor side: authorization letters, technical compliance documentation, reference materials;
• Track vendor performance against KPIs, SLAs, win rates, margin, and support quality; report regularly and escalate issues or service gaps as needed;
• Collaborate with the sales team on timely delivery of vendor products and services in support of customer commitments;
• Carry out additional instructions and tasks assigned by management.

Personnel specifications
• Diploma: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• Experience: 3+ years in vendor, channel, or partner management, ideally at an IT distributor, VAR, or MSSP
• Specific areas of expertise: IT/Cybersecurity sales, procurement, vendor and product management
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM and partner portal systems
• Languages: Azeri – excellent; English – good; Russian – preferable
